The church in Africa has grown tremendously in the last 20 years more than at any time in her history. Basically, there are two types of Church Consultants: Internal and External. The Internal Consultants can be retired ministers, long serving deacons and church workers who know the ups and downs of the church. But they always suffer from lack of recognition and acceptance. The External Consultant is a person who is hired on a temporary basis and works from outside a church.
