This is the end-time! So many things are happening at the same time, all pointing to the fact that we are really in the end-time. The competition between God and the devil for the souls of men and women is getting hotter everyday. The devil has devised various means deceitfully and forcefully to win people into his kingdom. Today, sin has become a normal life in our world. Corruption is rampant. Waywardness and worldly living is now the order of the day.
Unfortunately, the hands of many women are not clean regarding these mess. Imagine, women or young ladies who dress half naked on our streets today, just to attract men and commit immorality with them. Even married women, who should be satisfied being in their husbands houses are not left out of these sinful practises. What was regarded abnormal among women years back has been, sadly embraced as a standard lifestyle. Older women who should provide focus and direction to younger women can also not be spared in this circle of loose and careless living that does not glorify God.
Ironically, women accounts for a larger proportion of global population. The statistics of women in the society, market, street and any community can not be faulted or disputed in any way. It is amazing and intimidating. But inspite of this fact, we need to ask ourselves one basic question as women. The question is this, are we a blessing or a curse to our generation? We must ponder over that in our hearts.
God did not create us to distabilise His work and cause commotion in the church. He created us for a specific purpose. Unfortunately, many women do not know their purpose, or, have forgotten it. But will you be surprised to know that God is still looking for a woman in the midst of sea of women to use for His own glory. Like His longing in Ezekiel 22:30, “And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none”. This scriptural passage does not suggest gender bias against women. Here, when God refers to man, He actually had both sexes in mind. So, God's desires and expectation as expressed in the above scripture is for every mankind - male or female. So, make yourself available. Be the one He is searching for.
God will make use of any woman who is ready for Him in this generation. He is searching for a woman who will uphold the falling wall of righteouness, purity, discipline, godly living and uncompromising character. A woman that will make impact and shake the kingdom of darkness. A woman that is spiritual and committed to the cause of the gospel. Such a woman must be growing and equally embrace growth in its entire concept.
Understanding growth in proper perspective?
Growth means development, growing in grace, character and maturity. It is to overcome pettiness, envy, jealousy, hatred and breaking yourself off from all bad habits that often cast aspersion on the name of God. Growth also means embracing change gradually.
Growth is the fact of life. It is the purpose of our existence. Growing in every facet of life is not optional if you must be mightily used of God in this end-time. To really make impact and be fulfilled as a woman in the ministry and in your family is to take the issue of growth seriously. Your growth level determines either God will use you or not. Any woman that is not ready to grow or change is not ready to move higher in life. If you are not growing, you will be stagnant. Somebody says, “if you don't move when God is moving. God will move without you and everything about you will stop moving”.
Personally to you, growth is very important and foundational. Or else, you will not attain God's best for your life. You must grow spiritually, emotionally physically e. t. c. There must always be noticeable mark of improvement in your life, conduct, ministration and ministry. You must not give room to retrogression and immaturity. You can't afford to remain a baby in faith. Enough of excuse that God can not use you as a woman. He is more than willing to use you beyond your imagination.
