(D) GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN Church LEADERSHIP

International Institute of Church Growth (IICG), formerly Africa Institute of Church Growth, is an Institute devoted to the training of pastors, Church workers and leaders. Birth by God in 1996, through an interdenominational ministry, known as Church Growth Services, IICG is a God given institute to pastors to provide right understanding to Church growth and remove struggling in the ministry. It is not a Bible College but an Institute, dedicated solely to the practical aspect of the Church. Since establishment, more than 3000 Pastors, workers and Church leaders have been trained, and lots of them have tremendous and wonderful testimonies.

We are aware that most pastors does not know how to bring sustainable growth to their Churches. Many pastors and Church leaders, especially in Africa, has wandered so much, even to Overseas, looking for what can stop stagnation and crisis in their Churches but all to no avail. The truth is that those factors in America and London Churches could not perfectly work in Africa Churches. In a bid to fill this gap, God decided to establish IICG in Nigeria as an institute, to teach, train and instruct pastors and Church leaders in Africa on how to lead their Churches out of stagnation and crisis.

IICG is the first indigenous school, wholly committed to Church growth teaching in the African context, with Nigeria as a case study. It strives to offer you what they fail to teach you at the Bible School . We supply information and insightful tips that eliminate decline and crisis in the Church and also help independent and denominational Churches grow and prosper in this end time. Also is the training of Church workers to understand and play their roles in the overall growth of the Church. Leaders are equally not left out. We supply information that open their eyes to their positions and responsibilities in the Church.

One major, vital and honourable aspect of the ministry today, is for you to know your God given vision. Many pastors, leaders come into the ministry, either by force or by chance. Some saw the ministry as the wealth. But from the scriptures and research, we discovered this is not the primary purpose of being a minister. IICG helps you to identify your God given vision and teach you how to pursue it until you are able to fulfill it.

Many set goals but are unable to achieve them. Why setting goals that cannot be achieve? IICG will train you how to set achievable goals in your life and ministry. It is not easy, for a lay minister, to identify growth hindrance in his Church or ministry, but with IICG quality training, he can easily identify his growth hindrance and how to remove them.

In Church growth, strategy X might be the key for the growth of Church A. If Church B applies the same strategy X for his Church, it might not work. But so many Pastors are in love with other Churches' strategy of growth, they never knew that God has several strategies that can make their Churches to grow. God in his infinite mercy has established IICG to disseminate to the pastors various strategies that can grow their Churches.

Africa Pastors have a lot to know about the growth of their Churches and how to cure stagnation. Many do not know that it is possible to research and analyse the growth rate of their Churches. At IICG, you will learn the know how and the various ways that God uses to deal with individual Churches.

Much will be treated and handled in IICG classroom on the great commission of the Lord, as contained in Matthew 28: 18 - 20; Mark 16 -15, to the extent that all Church programmes will be centred on the issue of the great commission which many Churches and Church leaders today have turned to great omission.
